Haldia Water Services

Project Overview :

Swach Environment Pvt. Ltd., in partnership with Shristi Infrastructure Development Corporation Ltd. and Ion Exchange (India) Ltd., has managed and operated water works and utilities in Haldia. Prior to this project, the Haldia Development Authority (HDA) was in charge of ensuring a dependable water supply to residential, commercial, industrial, and municipal clients.

Capacity : 50 MGD (Million Gallons per Day)

Project Highlights :

  • Two existing water treatment plants (WTPs) need to be repaired and upgraded.
  • Maintaining electricity installations and pumping stations to guarantee continuous service is known as infrastructure maintenance.
  • Extending and improving the network of water transmission and distribution pipelines is known as pipeline expansion.
  • Water Supply: Catering to every consumer group in Haldia, including residential and commercial.
  • Billing and Collection: Overseeing water charges, billing, and collecting money from customers.

A major step towards updating Haldia’s water infrastructure and guaranteeing a reliable and effective water supply for all consumers is this project.
